Claire lives in Cromhall, South Gloucestershire, and is a broadcast and online journalist.

She started writing for pleasure as well as work when her boys left home and was delighted to reach the Final 10 at Stroud Short Stories within a few months. She's since been longlisted twice, in 2023 and 2024.

Claire's work has since been broadcast by BBC Radio Bristol and published in an anthology and an arts magazine. She’s currently researching ways to commit murder for her first cosy mystery about a journalist turned investigator and B&B proprietor.
